Will a dual band phone work in France, Belgium, Germany and Czech Republic?

Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul,

I'm guessing with dualband you mean GSM 900/1800 (just checking!). In that case, yes, it will work in those countries. It's actually listed on the different sim card pages that we just launched today. Check out the network listed on the right hand side of each individual countries page, ie. Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium and France.

You'll still pay roaming costs for making and receiving calls of course (unless you have a local sim card or one of the European wide ones that's available).

Cheers,

Sam

That's a good point and actually most likely to be the case with just about any national local sim card you get. There are also europe wide sim cards which seem to offer competitive rates and allow online recharging, but I'm not too familiar with these and how they work. Might be something to check out!
