Hey,

So leme get this straight...if i have worked in the seasonal industry or shearing then i can apply for a second holiday visa...i have worked in both areas on my whv in 2003 for 3 months but only one job was tax paying. how do the immigration guys check out ur details for this work......I imagine confirmation frm the farmer/employer is not enough eh??. I hear wwooofing is also being accepted as part of the 3 months. is this thru??

Ta

Naturally the jobs have to have been legal, ie. tax paying... That way you can prove using your old payment slips etc. The best source of information regarding the changes is actually the immigration fact sheet on the change and what it exactly entails. It can be found here.

yeah obviously I know they have to be legal jobs...but last I checked u don't pay tax when ur Wwoofing!! so the only back up required is the form from the farm owner confirming you worked for them. Thanks for the link tho...they certainly have extended the meaning of "seasonal work"
