Quoting Demian

There are rumours about abandoned subwaystations throughout London... It's so secret there's even no tourist company offering them in their tours (or at least, I haven't heard of any). There was a story on those stations in a Dutch newspaper a few years ago. Most of them appear to be closed with brick walls at the platform side, the entrance blocked with new buildings. some of them are on long forgotten, no longer in use stretches of rail (several km's in London alone). Some of them are claimed to be in use as artists' ateliers, others still breath the air of a century ago, with posters for theatre shows and adds from the time they were abandoned...
I never had the oppportunity to explore the truth behind this tales, but I'm very curious if they are true...

Yup, did a quick search on google and found this:

Sounds very interesting, have to put that one in my book of possible future film projects... Would make a great documentary.

Just remembered.. I know it's off the topic but if you're interested in that sort of thing check out 'Dark Days'. It's a documentary on Homeless people who made a home under Penn Station in New York.
Amazing stuff!

{Phil now returns the thread to its original schedule}
