Am planning the next trip, but due to time and money and holiday restrictions I am after some advice.
I (we) only have roughly a month, next march/april for the duration of the trip which brings the all important question - WHERE IS BEST TO GO FOR A MONTH ????
I have already been to thailand, cambodia, vietnam, laos, malaysia, oz and new zealand and so wouldnt especially want to go back - although thailand is currently favourite.
So any help would be welcomed - i was thinking maybe south africa or brazil
How about inter-railing round europe then you can experience a few countries
I'm in a really similar situation, got about 6 weeks this summer, and I've been a lot of the same places. I'm thinking Europe....maybe?
If you are going in March/April Egypt would be a great destination. You could grab yourself a cheap last minute charter flight from thomascooktravel.co.uk or similar, and fly in and out of Luxor or so. Morocco is also very nice.
Both countries are fairly cheap, and the weather will be ideal for travel there.
Europe is best done in summer and with a healthy purse. A very healthy purse.
would love to do europe but having looked at how much trains are i dont think it is viable at the moment - that might have to wait till i buy a vw camper van! i would prefer to use that money flying further afield.
looking at india as a viable option - on my last trip to south east asia everybody who had been to india wouldnt shut up about how good it was - also i am carrying a few extra pounds again after not travelling for 6 months and i am sure this would be a way to get rid of them
the only other place i have looked at is south africa and again that seems pricely in the extreme
all this and i am not a planner - but as people keep reminding me i at least need a country to fly into!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
How about Cuba or Mexico?
