I'm just really curious about this- one of my friends has gone off round Eastern Europe, destined for Greece where she'll be working in bars for the majority of the summer, does anyone know if its easy to find a job this way?
She doesn't speak Greek, but then she's pretty laid back about these things adn reakons if she heads for the touristty spots it'll be easy to get bar work.
What do you guys reakon?
Has anyone had any experiences of working in Europe in the high season?
Being from Greece, I would like to inform you that Greece is not a part of East Europe but South one's.
As for the easiness on finding your friend a job in Greece (bartender) in summer, I don't think that it would be a problem as long as she's quite beautiful. The language is not a problem; everyone - almost - speaks English in Greece.
Finally, the best place finding a bar work is Xalkidiki (North Greece) or any Aegean Island (mainly Mykonos – Kos – Ios – Rhodes).
Hope I was helpful
