I'm planning on going to Australia next summer. I'm deciding if I should spend 1 month alone or with a couple of friends. There are definitely pros and cons for both choices. I'm just wondering if anyone who has been to Australia or traveled alone anywhere can give me some help to make my decision. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Northern Hemisphere or Southern Hemisphere summer? - it's a big world out here.
If you could let us know which month you plan to come to OZ, TP helpers will advise on the better areas for that period.

Im going to ozin feb next year. believe me...its extremely easy to meet new people in places like this. Especially if you are staying at a hostel! Don't be worried at all. Young people who go there to work,party.....and meet people will definitly be more than happy to invite u into there drinking crews. Thats what its all about, just having fun and the people you meet. -pubs are great places to meet fun people! ;) haha of course!

Either way its a fantastic opportunity to get out and experience new and wonderful things. I live in Queensland and the temperature here rises as high as 35 degrees in the summer months, you will love it....If you decide on coming over alone, no doubt you will get to meet loads of other travellers in the same situation. Alot of fairly easy going people travel and stay in hostels, backpacking accomodation....a great way to meet loads of different people and personalities!!!

Come over and enjoy

Please be aware that December to February is Australian summer! With March and April being very warm too!

Imagine Christmas day having a barbeque OUTSIDE with 25 degrees sun! You'll laugh when you walk into shops and see fake snow everywhere!
