Hi all,

I like to visit Barbados, and would like to get some feedback from people who have been there, to let me know if July is a good month to visit and where is the best area to stay, is expensive place etc..

thanks in advance

Hi,

I went to Barbados a few years ago, and it was lovely. It's a great relaxing holiday, but there are lots of watersports. Most people tend to stay around St Lawerence's Gap, however I stayed near Speightstown (Mullins beach is beautiful if you get a chance to go). There's a great surfing beach too (on the E coast) - nice just to go and hang out. On Friday night, there's a big fish market where people go, and eat. In terms of touristy things - went on a catamaran trip - a little indulgence if you want.

Whatever you do, you'll have a good time.

Barbados ! I lived there 5 years in the 80's and Oh lovely beaches but SO BORING! to live anyhow . But a visit was ok at first ...but how much snorkling and hangind out at the baech bars can one do? If that is your scene you will enjoy it. And talk about EXPENSIVE ..and that was the 80's ..We lived next to glitter bay on West coust .The Southern coast is a bit chaeaper NOT by much.My ex husband helped build the resort of Haywards Village I am sure they will be on Internet.
But honestly after living in England, Germany, Spain< Portugal, Barbados and now Costa Rica ..I found Barbados to be the most expensive and overrated ( except for the beaches for a short time ) AND by the way it was the ONLY place where we were robbed in our house
Good Luck anyway.
