When they're talking to fellow Aussies they actually say 'arse' at the end of each sentence, but in order to not scare off travellers they mellow it to 'butt' :)

Have you ever noticed how all NZ'ers are seemingly closely related? They tend to be either a cuz or a bro.

ok I agree that the aussie and Kiwi thing both are as bad as each other. I mean my best mate is a Kiwi and I make jokes at them all the time as he does to me.

I don't really think that there is to much difference between Australian accents as compared to British accents. So I wouldn't be slagging us of about our accents.

Ohmygod.

As neither a Kiwi nor Aussie, I can say that this is freaking hilarious...! This may as well be Americans v. Canadians- the rest of the world, we sound the same; but only we can tell the difference and don't hesitate to give each other shit for it! ;)

Look I am a very proud Nz'er and I dont actually think its funny making fun of kiwi accents its not like we can help it. And btw its FISH AND CHIPS not FUSH AND CHOPS.

PS. I hate Australian accents (Are your parents related?)

It does work both ways. Kinda like Americans and Canadians do.

I noticed that those from Western Australia are the worst (in a good way), while those in Queensland tend to be a tad more respectable.

I spent two weeks sailing throughout the Whitsunday Island chain. I never receive too many complaints from my Kiwi accent.

Lovely place by the way!
