Hi there. 2 months ago I was thinking bout where should I go for my 2 weeks holiday. Finally, on advice of friend, I went to Prague and I was very satisfied. Me an my 3 friend have been there for 10 days. We found less expensive 3* hotel dirrectly on Wenceslas square, had good prices, so there was NO PROBLEM. Hotel was clean, no far from pubs, nightlife, sightseeing, so we have never fel borring. If you still don't know where to go, go to PRAGUE.

I also stayed in Prague last feb, its an amazing city and i would highly recommend a visit,i stayed in the Ariston hotel about 10 minutes walk outside the city centre, totally loved the place and will be heading back in the near future.
Could you please detail what do you mean less expensive hotel??
How much was it per night?
What was the name of the hotel?
Recently my friend had been to Prague. They booked it through a travel agent in Ilford. but the prices was good. The stay was in Corinthia Towers but still was very cheap.
Corinthia towers is a reasonable distance from centre, you could probably find cheaper closer to centre. On cheap Prague trips we tend to stay in the Hotel Merlin which is a bargain at about £45 per night for a double. Accomodation in Prague isn't that cheap usually and I'd pick where you're staying carefully although it obviously depends on why you're visiting. I've booked somewhere more expensive for New Year but it'll be cold and we might actually spend sometime in the hotel, however I've got a to do list as long as my arm (again).
You must be right. But since it was not me who went there, it was my friend. Though there are many hotels avaialble in Prague. Depending upon your requirement you can choose any among them. My friend booked his Prague city breaks with myprague.net
He suggested me that they offer very cheap prices. If you have any other travel agent in your mind, kindly share it with me.

I tend to book my Prague accomodation through www.athos.cz, however for New Year I got a good deal on expedia. Others I know recommend Thomas cook.
