Hey guys,

I am backpacking in Europe for 4 months during the European Winter and am travelling to Norway in December. I just wanted any advice anyone can give me on where i can stay in Oslo - and at a cheap backpackers price. Also any advice on things that i cant miss in Norway would be great.

Thanks,
Jess

Hei! I found this cheap hostel in Oslo. I have not been there myself, but the location and price looks really ok to me. I have lived in Oslo for some years.
Check out this page :

Norway is really expensive country, so everything might look super expensive for u, just to let u know :)
Something that u MUST SEE is Norwegian fjords, but they r many hours away from Oslo and many like to visit Bergen too.
If u have any more questions, let me know and I'll try to answer u!

Ive been to this hostel in the link above. Its a nice clean, resonably cheap hostel. About 10 mins out of city centre on the tram that runs right up to about 200m from the hostel.

Flam in Sogneford is worth going to see. Its right in the middle of the fjords and there's a hostel there too. Loadsa nice mountain walks by there if your into climbing/walking. I didnt have time to do any of these. But well worth going to and is just about an hour off the main route from oslo to bergen about half way across.
