This thread is marked as being about Brazil

My wife and I are planning a trip to Brazil in November and are very eager to visit the Panatanal. We expect to be in Campo Grande in mid-November. Would anyone have any experiences/recommendeations for different tour operators that run treks into the Pantanal? We will probably only try to book when we arrive in the Campo Grande but I would be intersted in how much we should budget for and your experiences of the trek.

I can give you names of organisators who will take you for about 40,- Euro a day, all included into the Pantanal. Transport included.
I can give you names of luxurious fazendas for almost 100,- to 130,- Euro a day. Without transport.
I am not connected to any agency. I made already more than 25 trips in the Pantanal (southern). It is really every penny worth.
It is not possible to budget if you don't give more details.

I am not interested in luxury. My main concerns would be having as little affect on the local ecology as possible, and secondly the budget. Have you travelled there in mid to late November?

No problem mid to end November.
At the Campo Grande busstation (rodoviaria), there are two "low budget" agencies. One is located in the labyrint of the busstation; the other is in front of the station, near the hotel Novohotel.
Both have websites:
It is possible to take contact via the site.
Have a nice trip.

Thanks for that Ericos. I have checked both these out and both are within budget and look like they provide good trips. I cant wait.
