I'm from Canada (Montreal more specifically) and I love to travel! Guess I found the right website, huh? tee hee. Last year was great cuz I went backpacking through Europe, and I've been across parts of Canada and the U.S. I'm 23 years old, just graduated university and I'm on the frence right now between looking for a career and going travelling again. This is my first day on this website (which my friend so wonderfully introduced me to) and I plan to check in every once and a while. If any of you guys want some tips on travelling, I'll try and help, and I'd love to talk with people about their experiences in Canada, and travelling abroad!
Glad to meet you all!
I'm Canadian, too! I have also been to Europe and across parts of Canada and the States! What a coincidence! Actually, I think that is pretty common among us Canadians. We all go to Europe at some point. It's a great place to go. I loved Europe and really want to go back. What do you do (career/job)? Maybe you can combine it with travel, who knows . .. I certainly plan to do that. I am going to go to school to become a nurse and then do relief work overseas. Good luck with your decision
By the way, welcome!
Thanks for the welcome! I want to work in radio news, but I'm not opposed to doing some travel writing! LOL, if you know of any Canadian radio jobs, let me know! I'm really looking forward to travelling abroad again, so maybe this whole career thing can wait. Only young once and yadda, yadda, yadda! Good luck with the nursing thing. I actually know someone that is doing a year-long nursing thing in Australia. She got a degree and just headed out there. Maybe you can do that?
Welcome! I mix up yours with mtgal - viv! maybe you are both twins!
