i think you should make the reservations immediately.

I ve recommended the Tango Inn in bariloche and people said it was really good.If it is a group you should also research on cabins or flats in the city, maybe it is more confortable and the difference not big.

whatever you decide, you SHOULD BOOK ASAP
the most difficult fornight will be for sure the second in July.

good luck

Hi I too sugest ASAP

I think that the best way to go is to book in advance, since high sky season is really "high in Argentina" -people from all over the world come to our resorts- and places would be packed! And prices are cheaper .......

....check these places out and I hope you have a great time. All in all, please don't hesitate to contact us for any other tip or insightful information on Argentina or Buenos Aires.

Hope I ahve been of help,Best regards, Bob Frassinetti

Yes, first check exact dates you will go, then email the hostels that’s easy and quick. I now that if there isn’t any room in hostels and hotels the Town Hall Tourist Department seems to help and even find lodging in private homes for a low price. But of course as you know, promises are always to be broken…. Bob

I spent 4 months travelling through the ski resorts of Argentina a few years ago. I stayed at the "La bolsa del deporte", in Bariloche for about a month. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, but there is some traffic noise if you´re room is on the road side. The ski resort is just a 1/2 hour bus ride away.

I always booked a few days in advance which was fine for one person booking into a dorm bed. If this is what you´re after then don´t worry, there are tons of hostels and there will always be a spare dorm bed. But if you want a private room or you are in a group then definitely book especially during the last two weeks of July when all the Argies take there winter holiday.

I´m in Ushuaia this year waiting for the season to start. Only 2 weeks to go!! wahey!!
