On our blog, we would like to have an interactive map of the world where we can mark all the places we've been. Unfourtunately, Travellerspoint doesn't have this feature (Maybe in the future?). We found a website that will let us copy the HTML code for their map and post in our blog. The website is, http://travelpod.com/cgi-bin/create_patch.cgi?tweb_UID=cwmacmul&tweb_token=567802674884645797
The problem is that the code is HTML and our template is in CSS. Does anyone know of a way to get this to work? Or has anyone come up with another solution for putting an interactive map of the world on their blog?
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately there isn't any way of including an interactive map currently. The best you can do at the moment is have a static map of your route and simply include it as as a graphic.
This is something that we are currently working on. Hopefully it will be live within the next few months.
You could just post it as a link, but there is no other way to show it through CSS (except as a background image perhaps)....
Or, depending on how long you can wait, the 'maybe in the future?' will be happening here on TP in the not too far future
You two are terrible!!! It is like waving chocolate under a diabetics nose.....you just keep taunting us with goodies...
