I am planning on going back to Australia in November but I am unsure on what places I should go and see before I go? I have been to France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium & the Netherlands. The only problem is I need to go on a tight budget
well since you've been to France, Italy,Switzerland,Austria,Belgium, and Netherlands may I recomend Czech Republic, Poland (be sure to go to Krakow), Slovakia, and maybe Hungary ! Also very beautifull places to visit. I think you can hit those places on a tight budget, they are all close together and you will not have to cover too much ground.
If your on a tight budget and wanting to stay in Europe then you only have one option - head East as soon as possibe! Blunstar's idea sounbds good but make sure you get to Croatia, cheap and one of the most underrated countries in Europe I think, you'll love it.
How about Germany ? Berlin is a great city and not very expensive for students and backpackers. From there you'd also have a huge choice of low-cost airlines (easyjet, airberlin, etc.) to get to Eastern Europe. I have also been told that Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are good if you're on a tight budget.
