Hello travellers!

I was browsing another forum and ran into a question from someone regarding how many countries different people have visited. I figure that is a great way to get to know each other a little better so here goes my shot.....I must say, it took me a while to rake up this list as I had never actually counted this before

It is as best I can remember it in the order of visiting....

Netherlands, USA, PNG, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, Nauru, Australia, Singapore, Guam, Switzerland, England, Wales, (I am lost on the time factor already), Luxemburg, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, San Marino, New Zealand, Mexico, Thailand, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Hong Kong and Costa Rica

Guess we leave it at 29 for now but I think I might have missed a couple here or there, especially from my childhood years! This is going to keep me awake at night I think.....

Look forward to your input from around the world....

Sam
ps. this is no competition, any amount of countries counts!

Hi Sam,

Fun idea, will try and remember all of them :-) :

Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Monaco, Spain, Andorra, France, Netherlands, Belgium (only travelling through), England, Scotland (counts as a country, doesn't it :-) ), Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Philippines... Think that's about it, 20 countries, not a lot, will have to pile some more up

cheers Solvejg

Ok, mine will be fairly similar to Sam's up to a certain age, but after that there are a few others.

Solomon Islands, Fiji, USA, Netherlands, Australia, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, England, Wales, Micronesia, Albania, Azerbaijan, Russia, Malaysia, Philippines, Nauru, Singapore.

20 there as well.. will add Spain and Italy in a few weeks

Watch out with that Scotland joke Solvejg, I used to work with some girls from Scotland.....till I made that joke :) Actually, a member here on Travellerspoint (Scottish) just popped me a message a week or so ago and asked if I could understand Scottish people when they speak. Maybe we should start a poll on that

Hey there,

I thought I would add my list so far to this.

England, Spain, USA, Italy, Uganda, Netherlands,
Estonia, Tanzania, Malawi, France, Scotland, N. Ireland,
Wales (i drove through) and I spent 24 hours stranded in Nairobi airport in Kenya (
we did go in to the city for about 2 hours) but i dunno if that counts but I'm going to
say it does. So 14.
I have plenty more on the cards. I just love to travel when I can. It keeps life
interesting.

Hi Toby,

Hope you'll enjoy. Wish I could just go to Barbados. Wonder just what get people hooked on travelling!! My family never travelled at all, suppose I got hooked at about 18, when I went travelling around Europe for the first time. Suppose when you live in a small country like Denmark, you are more likely to travel than when you live in the USA??? Don't really know, just a theory

very best regards and enjoy

Solvejg

Hi guys (and girls....),

I think you are probably right.... the Dutch are also known for their travels.... actually you bump into them everywhere :) and it must have something to do with size or there just not being very much exciting to see in your own country; although the Netherlands does have some pretty popular tourist attractions

Toby, Barbados....how cool! Enjoy (but I am sure that won't be a problem!).

Cheers,

Sam
