I just walked by another great graffiti:

"Harney is obscene!"

Now that beats the old 'Mike is a W$%^&' or similar.

It's funny what you found written on the wall. Other stuff I remember:

'Mike blows blind monkeys'
'Death likes Cheesecake' (now that's good to know, eh?)

Things that haven't been fully thought through:

'The homeless are revolting' (did they think that through? They are talking about a revolution!)
'Experience Ltd.' (On a car, I don't think I'd ever hire them for whatever service they offer!)

Anybody else seen interesting graffiti or other funny stuff? Tell me! I am bored!

I remember one that was on a toilet door in Queenstown, NZ:

Some come here to sit and think,
Some come here to shit and stink,
Some come here to pull their balls,
But I come here to read the bullshit on the walls.

A true toilet humour poet.

Hehehe...

Thats funny :)

I have seen some artistic work along the walls of back streets, creative cartooninst work of characters etc. I think that type of work is better displayed in a gallery for young artists or something...

And ive seen some horrific pictures too, especially in public toilets...a drawing of someone with its head stuck in the toilet bowl...and profanities about alsorts of things, too rude to mention!!!!

I remember this one (clearly some kind of republican):

'Flush hard, it's a long way to England!'

Next to the toilet paper at university was written,

"Undeveloped photo of Pual Keating (Australian Prime Minister at the time). Wipe arse to develop".

Over the folloiwng weeks, Paul Keating's name was scribbled out and a whole list of new names (uni lecturers, politicians, etc) were scribbled on the wall.

I particulary like the "Canadians go home" grafitti you see now and again around Quebec. Makes me wonder where exactly one is supposed to go - Thunder Bay?

Underoath just came out with a new album and one of the amazinging songs is called 'the writing on the walls' and i got super psyched cuz i thought someone was making a reference to them.

SO DELIOCIOUS listen to it hookahs!

i saw 'die yuppie scum' on the wall of a starbucks bathroom.

i think it would be funny if you wrote 'feelin' fine'
i dunno, its just so uncharacteristic.

my fav ever was either 'hug harder' which was scrawled on some wall in montreal.. took a pic of it, or 'the world is still beautiful' i almost cried when i saw that..

i had a dream,(im going to try to make it short) it was the most vivid thing ive ever felt, and in this dream humanity is under attack (and losing), and almost everyone i love either died or disappeared, and i was saved by a military batallion and started fighting as a soldier becuase i had nothing else, really. in the barracks i lived in (in the dream) the most beautiful thing ever was written on the wall of the bathroom. near the end of the dream, were under attack and were all giving a last stand, and as the building is falling down around me, im staring at this saying written on the wall that was so beautiful i simply couldn't stop looking at it.. it was so amazing. my brother pulled me out of the barracks just before it collapsed, saving me from certain death. that saying wouldnt leave me. shortly thereeafter my brother gets shot and killed, and i barely survive by running away from a hopeless fight. all thats left is me and some random strangers are wandering around an apocolyptic world alone, waiting for death, but i cant stop crying becuase of how beautiful this saying was. it was a total hope loss, no future, no love, no hope.. but this one saying, written by someone who was probably dead anyway, was the most poignant, unbelievable, beautifully human thing i ever read.

im going to write a book about that dream, because it needs to be shared with the world. it was like it just came to me, and showed itself to me whether i was ready or not, and left just as quickly. i woke up sobbing hysterically.

madness.

love you all.
appreciate what you got~
