Hello everyone!!

I am a twenty years old female from Denmark who has taken a year off to travel!! Since my early childhood I have visited the New England area several times but I have never really seen more of the country. So, this summer I have decided to start my travel adventures in the states.
I love meeting new people, beautiful scenery, food, music, hiking, movies, books, biking.....etc. The joys of life in general:)

I am flying to Seattle and traveling down the West Coast ending up in San Francisco. Tentatively planning on going east from there, ending up in NYC.

Look forward to receiving great advice and maybe giving it if I can be of any help.

Hi Bettina

Sounds like a good trip you're planning. I'd like to drive round the States one day. Enjoy it

Hi Bettina and welcome!

I drove around the west coast of the US a few years ago, although it was kind of in the opposite direction (the farthest north we got was San Francisco). There is so much beautiful and interest country there though; you'll have a great time I'm sure!!

Cheers from Oslo and catch you around on the forums

Hi Bettina! I'm new to this community as well but I noticed that you are coming to San Francisco. I live about 30 minutes south of there so e-mail me if you have any questions. The Bay Area is really diverse and full of lots of things to do! I hope you enjoy your travels.

Welcome to TP Bettina!!!

You'll love San Francisco, it's beautiful. As is much of the Northern California Coast. Don't forget a camera, though!!!

Bettina, even though I don't live in CA, (I live outside of Philly) you must go to Big Sur and Carmel. It is the jaw dropping and picturesque. Rent a car and drive along the Pacific Coast Highway. You won't regret it. It will be hard to keep your eyes on the road and not the sights. Good Luck!

I will keep you in mind Rebecca as I have not planned my stay in San Francisco yet:)

Sure Isadora that would ease my trip ;)
