wow the most amazing place?
I have many favorites but some that come to mind are Mexico, French Polynesia and France
In Mexico I visited the Mayan ruins (Chichen Itza) and it was an experience I will never forget
I just visited French Polynesia and it was a french paradise, I first stayed in Tahiti and them whent to Bora Bora, I took a private boat to a Motu (small island) to have dinner with my wife for her birthday
I love France, I visited in October of last year and visited the normal tourist trap, Musée du Louvre, Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame and the best was Euro Disney (ha ha)
The most amazing place I've ever been to is in the south of Chile in the National park "Torres del Paine". It's the most impressive landscape I've ever seen!!!
In the mornign the "Torres" sometimes are deep red. I saw it once. Its one of the moments in life where you don`t belife they are real... If you ever have the chance to go there - do it!
the best place ive been to is the grand canyon. it is just so vast! photos do not do it justice. the sunset there was amazing, quite ironic aswell tho, cos there was a forest fire on the north rim of the canyon, which was bad, but the smoke from it made for the best sunset ive ever seen
Hi every one.
Im new to this forum, im curently 20 years old and live in south england.

Loads of people have told me that it it something that everyone should experience and i think its about time i did too.
i am looking to go traveling at the end of the year, im not sure for how long or were to tho.
reading all the posts in this thread has really made me want to leave england for a wile and explore the world.
The thing is i really have no idea of ware to go .
i want to go somewhere really special were i will experience something amazing and have memories about it for the rest of my life.
does anyone know of any such places??? if you do i would love to hear about them,
i just need a little "gidiance" to send me on my journeys because from what i have heard there are thousands of amazing locations in this world.
thank you so much for your time i really apreciate it.
hope to hear from you
Okay, as far as cities go, my favorite is Rome. I love the ancient feel to it, the history thats just lying about in ruins all around. I also liked the vegan pizzas, free water and the many, many fountains...despite having accidently fallen into one on a very cold night, after being locked out of my hostel. (I spent the night shivering on a card-board box in some random park. )
And for outdoorsy places I'll say Punta Uvita in Costa Rica. Out on the whales tail at midnight. Pitch black, no moon, but the ocean is lit up by millions of little phosporesant fish. Amazing! (but its only one of many, we are blessed with a fantastic world!)
I've been travelling since I was 3 months old and I'm now 20 so, saying that I've been away more or less every year, I've seen an ickle bit of this beautiful world. But the most amazing place I have to say I've been to so far was the middle of the carribbean sea, without land for a few miles I jumped from the speed boats we'd been on, in to the sea and stood up only to find that the water came up to my waist. Beautiful, clear blue water. I got to hold giant star fish, as tropical fish swam about around my legs. But I'm sure there are more amazing things left to see...
Chilecota mentioned Torres Del Paine. I think that would be my most amazing place as well. In addition to the absolutely beautiful geography, it is far, far away from home (at least my home), which imparts an air of the exotic on it.
I always love empty beaches at night. Something about the moon on the water and the sound of the waves hitting the shore that really relaxes me.
Oh, and Wrigley Field. I almost cried when they sung the national anthem. And I got to see Harry Carry sing "Take Me Out To the Ball Game." It was like living history.
I am glad that Satrav mentioned Zanzibar, because I am going there in January.
The Pitons, St Lucia - best at sunset
Middleham Falls, Dominica
Isla de Margarita, Venezuela - incredible beaches, people, weather and seafood!!
Puntarenas, Costa Rica
The ABC Islands - just so beautiful and full of life
All of the Caribbean islands - so full of culture and life and happiness
But my number 1 place is being in the middle of the Caribbean, on a warm, starry night, at the back of a ship, where you can see the true strength and force of the ocean surrounding you. Good thing I work on a cruise ship.
