Belgrade is capital of Serbia and I think it is interesting place to be visited. Belgrade isn't Athens or Rome but have interesting spots too. If you like sightseeing, history, nightlife, rivers... visit Belgrade. In whole Serbia you also could find many interesting places to visit but will it be more or less interesting for you depends of that what you want to see.

I wan't tell you more because I don't know are you interested to find out more about my town and my country but if you are I'll be glad to tell you more.

Greetings

Visit Dubrovnik, Croatia. Great city. Ancient town center surrounded with city walls.

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Great people, lively streets, great food (burek is the national food you must try).

Plitvice National Park in Croatia. Great nature park, with lots of lakes and waterfalls.

Anywhere in Croatia is fantastic, as is Budapest and Cesky Krumlov. IN terms of worst places, personally i would never go back to Bucharest, Romania. I know others will disagree, but i found the place utterly uncharming and a big disappointment.

Definitely go to Croatia - Dubrovnik, Plitvice, Pula. Sarajevo in Bosnia was awesome too. At night, you feel like you're in the middle of the sky because of the lights of the houses on the hills. As for Bucharest, I totally disagree (and I'm allowed! I was born there lol) It is a bit weird because it's not geared towards tourists in the daytime (people have to work!) but at night, the city lights up and is totally amazing. People are out having a good time. If you like medieval stuff, check out Sighisoara, also in Romania which has a great festival in the summer.
Your question is kind of broad though because you don't say if you like mountains, cities, nature, beaches etc. I am sure you'd get a few more ideas from other travellers if they know a little better what you're looking for.
Have fun!

Budapest! Amazing place all round. It's cheap(er), beautiful, historic, the baths are the best around, and the opera house is amazing too. Do it.

2. Mostar, Bosnia&Herzegovina

Go to west europe!

Mostar, don't go there, city is divided to west and east part and it is not pleasant place.

Sarajevo, muslim city nothing special, Istabul is much better.

Dubrovnik, very nice place, if you visit Dubrovnik go to Kotor (it is not in Croatia but it is close to Duborovnik).
