Mostar, don't go there, city is divided to west and east part and it is not pleasant place.

You obviously went there ages ago. For your information, the war ended 10 years ago. And it is very pleasant place, for tourists as well as locals. It's not a pleasant place for those who tried to destroy it, cause they can't stand that Mostar rised above and despite their hatred.

Sarajevo, muslim city nothing special, Istabul is much better.

What does a "Muslim city" mean?
Sarajevo is multicultural city open to all religions. I'm sorry you had a bad tour guide over here.

Actually I was there during the World Cup and game between Brasil and Croatia, few weeks ago.

Oh, ok. I admit it wasn't a good choice of time, but the incident between the fans is an isolated one. And you have things like this happen in other places too. UK is well known about their football fans.

So, every Muslim is a terrorist, is that it?

Krakow - Good food, cheap, and lots to see!
Budapest - It can take you back in time!
Istanbul - Awesome food, good contrast between Asia and Europe.

Budapest came up a lot there. I would have to definitely agree.

The city is often referred to as the Paris of the east, and deserves this name. It bears some resemblance to Prague, but is larger and friendlier. The picturesque setting on two sides of the River Danube, really make Budapest one of the most enjoyable and most beautiful cities in Europe.

I just recommended accommodation to another traveler on another thread just there. A fantastic place to stay and it is in the centre of the city close to everything. I would recommend this place as much as I would recommend Budapest - www.budarest.eu
For us it matters as much where we stay as much as the place we visit. But no matter what, I am SURE that you will love Budapest. It is real value for money - with great food, great sights, great transport system, great and beautiful people.

I am recommending High Tatras. Here is so much interesant places to visit:
- High Tatras mountains - great nature, high peaks, many tourist foothpaths
- The Spis Castle - one of the largest Castle on the world, amazing sightseeings
- The Ochtinska aragonitova cave - there are only two aragonit caves opened for public in the world - one in France a the second here ( this is bigger and more beautiful in my opinion ).
- Poprad AquaCity - aquapark

Anyway, the Croatia is beautiful, too - but it is South Europe - try to look at this pictures - Plitvice, Krka or Brijuni, Kornati.

Not sure about the worst as I enjoyed all of Eastern Europe. My favorites would probably be:

L'viv, Ukraine
Tallin, Estonia
St. Petersburg, Russia

and even though they can be overrun by tourists in Summer or weekends, I really like Prague & Krakow.

I've been to Prague, Riga, Krakow, Tallinn and Bratislava.

In order of which I think is best

1. Riga - beautiful old buildings. Completely safe. A mixture of old and modern.

2. Tallinn - simply beautiful. A bit overun by tourists though.

3. Bratislva - better than you think. And really cheap!

4. Prague - beautiful place, but like Tallin, overun by tourists now.

5. Krakow - quite good. Mind you it was raining when I was there!

My next top 5 destinations are:

Kiev - Budapest - Belgrade - Sofia and then maybe Minsk.
