I'm booked to travel to Australia in October with OzIntro... booked to arrive on the 16th, however I'm thinking of bringing my trip forward so that I arrive on the 2nd instead.

However, I'm not sure what the weather's going to be like at the beginning of October, what are the temperatures like then? What sort of time of the year does it really start warming up for summer?

It really depends where in Australia you will be.

Sydney in October is really nice. Warm, sunny days with tops in the low/mid 20's.

Generally the weather in Sydney is quite good in October, but last October it was still chilly (I thought, but I'm an Adelaide girl). I think it's really warm in Jan and Feb.
