Ello peeps, I am planning to resign from my job and head out to sunny Brisbane and make my way to Darwin. Will be travelling on budget. (My tent has endured many Glastonbury Festivals and is now ready for Ozzy Land). This trip is to commence in November if I come back in one piece from South America where I will be heading in September.

Mission: Have Fun, diving, paragliding, handgliding, parachuting, snorkelling and anything else that comes along.

Plan: Will travel as long as feel like it, when the money runs out will try to get a job.

Company: Looking for 3 to 4 backpackers to share the costs with, as it is safer and easier to go about as a group.

For any more info. drop me a line.

Hi Dario,
I'm planning to head to Oz in Sept, budget sounds good to me! I'm up for most things and planning to work as I go along!

My plan is to go to Oz in November, as I will probably be in South America in September. But if you like send me your email and we get in touch late August just to confirm arrangements and take it from there.
But either way we can always hook up there in November.

Let me know how that sounds ?

O yep also, apparently we are only allowed to stay for one year and work for up to three months for the same employer. Does anyone know
if this is correct info. if yes is there any way of working part-time for a bit longer.

I thought Australians can stay up to 2 years in the UK and work as well why can't we do the same.

Please do correct me if I am wrong ?

Hi Janne, it would be excellent to meet up in oz. I bought this book for backpackers going to Australia and apparently whitesand beach is the place to be. But I am thinking it would be nice to either hire a car or buy inter-rail travel ticket which is about $300. And see all the places along the great barrier reef, do a bit of diving perhaps.

I would like to stay for up to a year as well and apparently there are fruit picking farms along the way so might be able to earn a few bucks to pay for travelling. Send me a message with your email address I will add you to my contact list and we get in touch near the time of travel.

Nice to hear from you. Take care.

Hello again peeps, a slight change of plan. Booked my flight out on the 1 December, will stay with family and friends and set off backpacking beginning of Jan. from the sunny Sydney and NOT Brisbane. I am arranging to meetup with another fantastic fellow traveller, so it is all coming along nicely. Have a good day all, and happy travelling.
