corinne244 has indicated that this thread is about Australia

we are campervaning up the West coast of oz from sept and was wondering if anyone has experience with wicked campers and if so any good?
Also their website is rubbish and the payment confuses me, any ideas how to book form here and if better to book early or later?

You could try ringing them to book. I know it's old-school, but sometimes it's the only option :)

Hi,
me and my boyfriend hired a wicked camper to drive from adelaide to brisbane up the coast. was brilliant. its like a little community, everyone else with wicked vans beep at you. you see them everywhere. They're decent size for 2 peole but too cosy for 3. id def recommend them...but make sure you get to see the van b4 u sign anything, some of the older ones are bit rusty but they've got a lot of new ones now too.
have fun!

My girlfriend and I rented a "car/van" from this company in April 2006. The last question we asked their employee in Melbourne was: "Have this van had a vehicle check before we get it?". To this question she answered: "yes, and the former people who rented it was very satisfied. The only problem was the leftside mirror and the radio, but that is fixed now" Soon we found out all that was just a lie. When we got to the highway, we started to notice the first problems: The stearing wheel was shivering menacing when we drove more than 85 km/h. A CRACK of 40 cm., which in the contract was mentioned as a "scratch", was to be found in the windshield. The leftside door did not close correctly. We COULDN'T use the leftside mirror because of the wind drag and worst but not least: a terrible smell of exhaust fumes was entering the "car" through a big dent above the exhaust pipe. Luckily the gearbox broke down after 26 hours of car rental. When we contacted W.C. about the problem, their manager (John) expected us to stay by the van until it was fixed, even though it would take 5 days, just to fix the gearbox. He wanted us to continue in a higly dangerous car. So much for that kind of service!!!
I hope you all understand, why I wouldn't recommend this lousy company.... Get a decent van from a respected company instead, unless you want to be trated with dis-respect
