Hi guys,

I'm in ZA at the moment and having a great time.

Finally I'm able to make up my own personal opinion about ZA, as I asked a lot of questions to u all a few months ago (as some of u might be able to remember)

We just got married on the 10th of June in the Free State (that's where this lucky guy is from) and are now travelling along the Garden Route by Baz Bus!!!

More details another day, as my time for the Internet is running out...

take care

Kathi ;)

Uhm...not to offend you in any way, but WHY would one, who lives in SA, take the Baz Bus!? For people who don't know the country it is a reliable and safe way of travelling, but for someone who knows the country it sounds boring and all along the paved route to me...
I can assure you that I am really enjoying SA too! Have lived for almost four months in Joburg now, and another 3,5 to go :) But I never took the BB when I travelled around - in stead, I bought a car and did it myself :) Something I really can recommend. And don't say a car is expensive, my '77 Beetle cost me only R 8500!

But congratulations with your marriage & enjoy your Garden Route trip!!

Could tell you a long story why we decided to go for the Baz Bus but I guess the shortest way of putting it, is:

we are not living here and we are not gonna stay here! Just travelling and visiting my husbands family!

Otherwise we would have bought a car!

enjoy Joburg!

Garden Route is cool. My favorite stop was Knysna. If you have a few days there the Cango Caves are about an hour to the north. Definitely try to get up!
