I am planning to go to Croatia for the first time this summer, and I have narrowed my search for this place called Palmizana:
Has anyone been there? Is the food good or bad? How’s the night life…?
I have 3 weeks and I don’t wish to waste them, so any useful comments most appreciated.
I haven't been to Palmizana, but if their food is as good as on Hvar and other islands, you don't need to worry about that. Night life is a different thing however. I believe that that's the bigget disadvantage of the whole Croatian coastline, although there are some places with good beach clubs. I don't know anything about Palmizana in particular.
The most famous Croatian forum is
so you might try to post some questions there (it's in Croatian, so if you don't manage to register and post, let me know and I'll help you). "Putovanje" means "travel", so you probably have to look for some part of the forum with that label.
I hope I helped a little.
the forum was somewhat confusing as i don't speak croatian
but i was just wondering what are others' experiences? the pictures all look lovely, but i know they can sometimes be misleading!
