This is why I chose to become a veggie. I can reconcile that the hen did not die to produce an egg, a cow to produce milk, a fruit tree to bear fruit. I can live with the fact that the vegetable was pulled out of the ground easier than knowing a pig, cow, chicken, fish, etc. had to die to sustain me. Just a personal choice.

Just a though...have you ever wondered why cows produce milk? It's to feed their calves, but where are the calves? Oh they've been killed for veal...traditionally at least that was the case but now we can just kid the cow with hormones etc...I think everyone should think about where their food comes from...and where and how it's grown.
For instance take a good look at the shrimp farming industry here in Thailand.

Have you thought about pesticides used in growing fruit & veg? And what about genetically modified fruit & veg?

Sounds like it's safer to just stay at home and grow your own fruit & veg.
