Hello there, just something I have run into that last couple days.
My sister is running a blog while she travels through SE Asia. So I logged in and started making comments. No problems there.
My mum is around and uses my computer time to time, and she went to make a comment - she logged my out of the TP site, and logged herself in. Thinking this meant she could comment under her name.
Alas, she keeps posting using my name. It seems the login isn't tied in between the blogs and main site.. or at least it isn't after you do it once.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, it's a different subdomain, so the session is different, so logging out on the main travellerspoint doesn't log out on the blog subdomains.
I remember having to put in quite a few ugly hacks to work around that on my own site, since the server-side scripting language didn't allow me to change the domain for the automatic session cookies. Don't know if that's the case here, too.
Peter? We'd have to set the domain for session cookies to .travellerspoint.com (note the starting dot). And otherwise I guess we'll need a logout link on blogs...
Perhaps the log out link on blogs would be the easiest.
And perhaps a name at the top of the page showing who you're logged in as could help too.
