Hi everyone,

I´m visiting India for 3 weeks in august.I´ m flying into Delhi. But...as I ´m traveling alone...I´m not sure about what are the most interesting places to visit.

I was thinking in the next itinerary( Delhi, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Mumbai...fly ti Calcuta, and then Vanarasi, Agra, Delhi). Something like that.
What do you thing? do you think I have enought time to visit them??
Thanks,

Xavi

hiya
its one hell of a long way from udaipur to mumbai...
if you only have 3 weeks i'd stick to rajhastan and then do agra and possibly varanasi... you could easily spend 3 weeks just in rajhastan though if you wanted...

maybe do something like this
delhi-agra-jaipur-pushkar-udaipur-jodphur-jaisalmer-bikaner (if you like rats) and then back to delhi

hope that helps
steph

I saw all of those places except for Calcutta in just 2 weeks. If you're the type of person who would rather see a lot of places instead of just relaxing in one place for a long time, then you'll be fine. I would reccommend not staying too long (a few hours or just one day) in Jodhpur and Agra, as there is not too much to see. Other places, like Udaipur and Varanasi are nicer places for staying for longer periods of time.

it depends what your idea of travel is ... is it touch n go and i have seen that place for the record or experience it .. 3 weeks for all those cities is a tough task .. but if you have to do it I would suggest 2/3 days in delhi, 1 in agra, probably a day trip to see the taj (31/2 hrs one way via road from delhi), 10 days for rajasthan (jaipur, jodhpur, udaipur, pushkar try and add in jaisalmer)...2weeks up ... then i would suggest varnasi...mumbai n u fly back...need to cut out calcutta

let me know if this helps
