I am going to Europe in September for 28ish days. I will start in Amsterdam and then head to Copenhagen, Stockholm and then Oslo.
I am not making much of a plan as I want to keep it loose. To go to these four countires, should I buy a Eurail pass or just buy tickets for passage to each city as I go?
Also, being that it is September in the Nordics, are hotel reservations a must? I did get a hotel for Amsterdam as there is a large tradeshow there that I will be going to and the hotels fill up!
Any info would be great!
well.. i love rail.but sometimes can get expensive.
you'd probably want a selecpass and u can select the 4 counties.
also keep in mind the cheap airlines like ryan air, easy jet can get you around fast and cheap.
sometimes the passes arent' enough and you have to make a reservation on the train which is additional to the pass cost.
if the schedule has a R with a circle/square around it it means its mandatory to make res...
thope this helps
