i´m considering to go from beijing to shangai. I have 12 days..what do you suggest to visit in my way..
after that, i´ll meet some friends in shangai, and will go to Chengdu (Emein Mountain), after to chongking (three Gorges) then Xian and back to beijing..this second part, in about 25 days..do you think it´s a good plan, and possible?
Thanks! if you need information about spain, brazil,germany,guatemala,nicaragua...i´ll be glad to help you!
Are you taking a train from Beijing to Shanghai? Or are you taking a plane? You can probably kill off a week or more when you get to Shanghai. South of shanghai, you can stay 3 days in Hangzhou. North of Shanghai, you can spend 2-3 days in Suzhou, a day trip to Zhouzhuang, and 3 days in Nanjing. It depends on what you want to see but I'd highly recommend going to Hangzhou. I've been to China quite a few times, please feel free to ask me more questions.
I'll need some information about spain in the near future.
Really a good deal – equal value info-exchange! Everybody is happy
Frankly speaking, 12 days visiting on BJ & SH is not enough. But also depending on your travel style - quick or in-depth. But you can set your heart at rest as you can see all the places of interest in these 2 cities during 12 days, as well as the cities around SH, which mentioned by JZA80. BJ is magnificent. SH & Hangzhou & Suzhou are exquisite. Different feeling
Second part is good. Si Chuan is a must-visit province of China. And Xi An is the ancient capital of China. You can see many known historic sites in Xi An, some unearthed relics... Refer to Si Chuan, besides the places you mentioned above, don't forget - Jiuzhaigou Valley & Huanglong, Mt. Four Girls & Danba, Daocheng & Yading, Songpan (you can take horse trekking here)... Still more, but you won't have time, i am afraid
Chao and happy travelling!
Does your 12 days from Beijing to Shanghai include sightseeing time in either?
Beijing (4 days) -- Nanjing (2 days) -- Huangshan (2 days) -- Suzhou (2 days including daytrip to Tongli) -- Hangzhou (2 days) -- Shanghai
