Isa (& Beerman!)

Instead of threadjacking (l held back!!) you and Kris are planning a trip to Ireland - YAY. When or are you midst formulating plans?? Oh great a TP meet in Dublin perhaps?? But is it wise to invite Jase over especially with the proximity of the Guiness Brewery!! Oh please dont say its at Christmas though cos l will heading off to to Oz & NZ!!! Oh and at end of August to Lake District in England for 3 nights!!!

I would hate to miss your visit - it would be like the Pope's visit to Ireland!!!!!!!

Oh my!!! Compared to the Pope!! Is that a good thing or a bad thing??

It won't be Christmas!!!! Winter is for Caribbean travel. We are trying to find reasonable airfares for late September - early October. BUT, it depends on the cost of flights, the brewery schedule (Beerman's, not Guinness'), our cat-sitter's schedule and how many couches we can surf. (Kidding about that last one!)

A tiny hiccup needs to be considered now... I asked for tickets to "Wicked" as a birthday gift from Beerman's family. I made the mistake of saying the last 2 Saturdays of August or any Saturday in October. Well, though I'm not to know yet, I'm the proud owner of 2 tickets for October 7th. (And, no, his family doesn't visit this site.)

Phil (Pardus) has already figured out the brewery/distillery/pub crawl around Dublin. Seems he and Nikki want to try and get us drunk.

ps: IF we are able to do this, then I'll move the thread over to Europe so any TP member who would like to attend a meet-up can post. (At this time, it's still a rather big IF... But, miracles do happen!) ;)

Thank you for the offer! We can deal with the "catch" if we don't have to cook for him.
(Our Fred has been gone for about a month now - again. If he doesn't return by Sept., we may need a Fred to pet - especially since they look very much alike!)

I'm lost, are we invited to drink St James gate out of existance????

Ohh, i'm confussed now who's going where when?
All this work is scrambling my brain

You see Jase - you snooze you loose!!

No there may be a possibility that Isa & Beerman may be in Ireland during late Sept/Oct. And if so then there will be a TP meet in Dublin prob. BUT due to the proximity of St James Gate and your capacity for Guiness l dont know if its a wise move for you!!!

Nope you don't have to cook for him ! The occassional pet and shining of a torch for him to chase the light keeps him happy, besides that you just have to relax and make yourself comfortable.. and enjoy a drink or a million !!
