Are you suggesting going out boozing in Swords, Nikki?? That's flipping Hertz Country!!!! All those lost souls chained to their desks during the day will roam the streets and pubs in the night looking for something that will put a little bit of light into their lives....

If so, I have to adjust the itinerary for the Isas.. I now have to ring Bertie and reschedule the lunch...

i don't mind where we go to be honest, the city has a better nightlife and more choice, we only have about 11 -13 pubs or so here, depends what type of place everyone prefers, i think bruxelles would be a good laugh but it depends on the group !?!

Whoa! Big jump there i missed slightly. Since when was Belgium relevant (to this discussion?) and is that not a b*stard of a walk back to Dublin afterwards if everybody is staying there?!

(i know, i know)

Also, (stupid question, probably) was it ever actually established that the Isa's would be coming to Ireland, or just that there was a vague possibility, which is how I understood it? Which means all of this could just be moot until they get their arses into gear...

Good question, Rich. There is a very high possibility that the Isas are coming over, but they are still rooting for cheap flights. This thread is to make sure they get their arse in gear and come over! But if it should fall through for whatever reason, I think we still should have a TP meetup in Dublin anyway. Just for the laugh...
But I am still positive that the Isas will come over, there's no choice for them, really...

Sure, although I remember the previous (or a previous) one, which despite an alleged dozen or so people supposedly showing, ended up with the grand turn out of 2 people. A somewhat bemused and mostly asleep me, and the wonderful Rraven who had spent the morning being attacked by an evil woman with long needles.

By the way, what (if any) Nikki, is the Reason behind your recent (to me, anyway) double R in Rraven?

Seems Nikki went through several identity crises (crisises?). During her adventure and experimentation with other usernames, another member stole Raven. She couldn't get it back!! We warned her... (She likes the sound if the "rolling "R"s too.)

I think that's just the nature of it. Our mini Dublin TP meetup last year consisted of me, Neal and Philly - although we had a great time! The Isa's may be the magic glue that brings people together, though. If only to see Beerman in his pirate costume. Or to try on the mystical leprachaun suit.

It is a mystical suit! I still have occasional flashback.....ohhh pretty colors......~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
