Yes I have gone through the first mile of banishing my addiction. It has been a lot easier than I thought - considering I wasnt planning on giving up, it just sort of happened.
Since then I have been doing all sorts of weird and wonderful things like going running, strange but true, the only downside, Ill never smoke a spliff again, sigh.
But it should be worth it, Ill keep ya posted

Good job, Steve! :)

I know two guys who had given up smoking many years ago and have never smoked since. Both of them were heavy smokers before they quit. Now, they are just like me, unable to stand the smell of cigarette smoke.

You've just came back from the dark side to the bright side. Keep it up! ;)

So do I! I deteste poeple who smoke a lot! My grandpa died because over-smoke...and now my father just had himself in hospital and doctor said it's because of cigarettes too...it is not only affecting the smoker's life but the smoke affects the non-smokers more!

Keep it up, Steve! Trust me, it is another more refreshing world without cigarettes sticking to your life!;)

Excellent job.

If you ever feel like a smoke, keep this in mind: if you can do a day, you can do a few days. If you can do a few days, you can do a week. If you can do a week, you can do a month, etc, etc.

Who will win Steve? You, or the cigarette? That's what it boils down to. Only one of you can win, and the other one will be a loser. I think you already know the answer.

How any executive of any of the cigarette companies can sleep at night is beyond me. "But it's a legal product" doesn't wash with me. We can all quote ridiculous laws, and this one is no different.

I know how good you must be feeling. I haven't had a cigarette for over twenty minutes. ;)

Good job Steve! I quit not too long ago myself. It gets easier and easier with each passing day. I actually like the smell of cigarettes but I also like the smell of gasoline but I wont drink it. (I know that sounds weird, but I do whatever it takes for me to not smoke). Running is a great way from keeping yourself from smoking and you start to look great too.
