hi ,

i am visiting germany in august second week.
what is the wather in germany in aug...do i need to carry warm clothes...
and an important question.....i have to attend a german wedding of a friend....wat kind of clothes should i wear??

Hi Divya,

what type of clothes should you carry depends a lot on which part of Germany you are visiting. So if you mention the place of visit, I can suggest more precisely.

The weather in Germany is very uncertain, so be prepared for the unexpected. The Germans wear clothes based on the Onion layers principle( increase the layers when it is cold and decrease when it is warm). But Carrying 1-2 pullovers, a wind jacket, umbrella is always advisable.

What clothes should you wear at your friend's wedding can be best recommended by your friend ;-). Formal western wear would suit the best for the occasion.

Thanks for the advice.
I would be visiting Oldenberg and I would also be visiting Holland(Amsterdam)
Any specific suggesstions on that !!

It'll be pretty warm, but pack a jumper just in case . . .
