Hey anybody know of a good tour company that can take me around sydney with my family (5 or 8 ppl), then continue up passing by surfers paradise and all the other good places to see on the way up to the Great Barrier Reef? Also is it possible to start out of sydney on sunday, do the trip, and be back by thursady afternoon?
Anything? any companies, anyone...
Can someone help him out please.. surely some of you guys know of some good tour companies!
I dont know myself sorry james
I think you would be seriously pushing it to leave Sydney on Sunday, take a trip up the coast and taking things in (e.g. organised tour) up to Great Barrier Reef (southernmost point of GBR is around Bundaberg, and continues northwards), AND be back in Sydney Thursday (4 days later).
Sydney to Brisbane is 1,000km by itself - plus added miles to the Great Barrier Reef. If you were thinking of Cairns as a stop of point for the GBR (popular point for the reef), Brisbane to Cairns is 1,750km.
The road from Sydney heading north to QLD is not that great, for such a busy road. It's mostly one lane in each direction, with some passing points, there are many bends in places - it's not a fast road!!

Thanks. I'm gonna be taking cheap flights between sydney to hamilton island and them from there to brisbane( and drive to surfers). So now he anybody knows of any specific or all things to do in those places?
beaches beaches beaches lol. There are heaps and heaps of brochures of things to do in the Gold Coast, surfing is excellent there. Surfers isnt great but kirra and burleigh heads are good for surf
