Hi all,

I'm a little late too! Sorry about that. My name is Kelly.
Have been to loads of places & started travelling abroad when I was about 5, first place was Yugoslavia. Don't really remember too much about my hols, I have a REALLY bad memory. So anyways me & my blokey are off round the world at the beginning of July, I have quit my job, yay! I was looking on the internet for somewhere to post some diary entries for people back home to look at & found this site. Everyone seems very friendly! I will write a little journal while I'm out there & put some entries on here when I find an internet cafe. I'm hoping this will help with my memory problems so I can remind myself about my fab adventure We are starting in Argentina, then to Bolivia, Chile (skiing for 2 weeks), then to Easter Island, Tahiti, New Zealand, Oz, Tasmania, Singapore & a coupla days in Kuala Lumpur before the sad journey home - then I'll need to start job hunting again

Hi Kelly,

Welcome to the site! Sounds like a good trip ahead and keeping a diary will certainly help refresh your memory in times ahead. Looking forward to seeing you around :)

Cheers, Peter

Hope you will visit India soon

Certainly haven't forgotten them at all. I've wanted to go to China since about the age of 5. They are both on my MUST DO list very soon. But unfortunately we HAVE to be back by the end of Feb. So we decided the final countries on a "how far from home is it?" basis. We are spending most of our time in New Zealand, Tasmania & travelling through Oz. We figured that we could travel to China for 3 weeks one year & India for 3 weeks the next. I am also hoping we can get this sort of break again so we can travel through Asia for months & really get a feel for the place. There's just too many places to go!!
