Hey guys. I'm a bit confused. Just wanna know what the best order of visiting australia and new zealand is coming from america this summer. Does it make the most sense to fly and visit australia 1st, then continue on to new zealand, and fly back through sydney to the U.S on my way back, or 1st through to visit new zealand, then australia, then back to the U.S.?
Depending on the time of year and what you want to do,
Summertime it doesn't really matter which way round you go (Feb is the best month for NZ weather wise), but if you intending to go skiing in NZ then i'd goto aus first (if you anything like me and break or strain boby parts skiing).
NZ is a bit more relaxed, but don't make the mistake a lot of people do by spending loads of time in Aus and a week in NZ. They usually go home wishing they had more time for Godzone.
Enjoy your trip.

Is this northern hemisphere summer, or southern hemisphere summer?
Northern hemisphere summer. August time, australian/new zealand winter time
