I'm looking for anyone interested in travelling out to Spain at the beginning of November by anything other than plane. Also in meeting up with anyone wanting to WWOOF there.

I'm planning on woofing in Spain starting in October, if I can... I have never travelled by myself before, and this will be totally new... I would love to talk to you about it, at least. Reply if you're following this.

Hi,ignore this if I've already replied to you!I've been posting my details in several places and I'm now confused!

I'm not likely to leave until November now but I'm really keen to go now that we've had a few tastes of the long grey winter that is in store here in the UK.

Please reply if you're still interested, and/or ask anything you want. I wwoofed in New Zealand for four months a few years ago on my own and really loved it, well mostly, the independence is brilliant but I was a bit lonely from time to time which is why I'm making an effort before I go this time to find people I might like to wwoof with.

WWOOF stands for world wide opportunities (on) organic farms, and is just as the name implies. Basically you volunteer on an organic farm (almost any where in the world) in exchange for room and board. Check out the website for more information:

There is a cost to become a member which provides you contact information of the hosts. I probably didn't make it sound very enticing, you'd have to look into the website to get a better idea.

A good friend wwoofed in NZ and India. She had great experiences in both places and highly recommended it to me. I will be wwoofing for the first time this fall/winter in Europe. I have hosts for France in October and Ireland in January. The rest is wide open, perhaps I will look into wwoofing in Spain!

I am excited to see other wwoofers on this site!

I wasnt in India, but a good friend of mine was. I will see if I can get the info. from her. I know that she was working with schools while she was there, rather than farms. But she did have an amazing experience.
