I am heading for 4 months playin cricket in Melbourne from september until janurary. I wont be doing activities such as sky diving etc.
Does anyone know any good companies for insurance?
Also, if I were to require medical treatment, would I need to pay for the treatment then be reinbursed, or do the insurance company pay-up? Just wondering on the off chance that the treatment came to more than I could afford?
Thanks in advance, Tom.
If you go to http://www.moneysupermarket.com and click on travel insurance this will give you a list of quotes online and you can choose most appropriate to you.
Ensure they cover you for the right amount of days you are away on a trip. We have couples annual insurance and it cost us £65 for the year (no winter sports) and it covers us for trips of 45 days in duration.
If you need medical assistance your insurance will cover you and (l think as lve never need to use it!) you simply contact the broker and they sort bills from there.
Enjoy the cricket!
Thank you very much, this looks very useful!
