any help would b great
Try Wohnzimmer at Helmholtz Platz in Prenzlauer Berg area of Berlin. It is one of the happening areas to hangout on a weekend. There are a lots of bars/cafes/beer garten in this area. you can choice one of your choice.
wishing you a good time in Berlin.
you can try the FELIX,

cheers guys. ill check them out. thanks very much
http://www.newberlintours.com/pubcrawl/index.htm - this could be good. I did a tour of Berlin with them and they were fantastic and there were heaps of people speaking English from all over Europe and some other countries so it might be worth doing that and then going on the pub crawl...
ah East Berlin is great!
get off at Orienburger Strasse and you will find many great bars - just mind the prostitutes...
oh yeah, east berlin has been the place so far for me. Found a bombed out former department store on Oranienburg Strasse which was just fantastic! cheers!
Am sure you won't get bored with nightlife in Berlin .
Maybe also check out Oranienstr. in Kreuzberg (Metro Line 1, Station Görlitzer Bahnhof), there some cool pubs/bars around there, too.
And the best and biggest strawberry daiquiri in the world (and I have tried a lot ) you'll get at Erdbeer Bar in Mitte (Max-Beer-Str.56).
There's a cool place just across the Spree river from Friedrichstrasse bahnhof: 'Brokers Bier Börse' It works like a stock exchange: whatever beer is the most popular: the prices increase. The beer nobody is drinking gets cheaper, so if you want to have a budget night, you'll find yourself drinking beers you never heard of. Every now and then there's a 'crash': a bell rings and all prices are set back to the starting retail price. There're electronic pricelists, where you can see the prices changing.
Funny concept, great pub.
The Address is Schiffbauersdamm 8, just outside Friedrichstrasse bahnhof. When you cross the bridge under the platforms over the river, its just to the right. When you take the road bridge a little further, it should be on the left (i.e.: it's between the railtrack and the bridge...)
Oranienburg Strasse is the place i meant yeah! One of the coolest areas in all of Europe I think.
