Finishing up an internship here in Valparaiso Chile and will be flying out to Buenos Aires on July 29th until August 8th. Definitely want to do Iguazu Falls and experience Buenos Aires. Any other recomendations, especially for maybe Uruguay for a day two? Thanks

just one: don´t fly. It´s an overnight journey (well, a bit more) from Santiago to BsAs

you can travel to Uruguay from Buenos Aires by Ferry.
to Montevideo by Buque Bus (Ferry, plus Bus to the city)3hours,
or to Colonia,a very charming little town at the Rio de la Plata.
1 hour trip.
But dont miss Iguazu,it is just breathtaking.

For Uruguay take the Buquebus from BsAs to Colonia. Spend a day there.

Go overland to Montevideo and if time permits check out Punta Del Este

or have a nice rest at one of the Thermal Springs. My favorite is the Guaviyu (just north of Paysandú). Not one of those snobby springs as many others.
