Hi! I and another woman traveler are planning to spend a month in each of Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador. We want to travel by bus between each place, that way we can see more of the countries and stop off if a whim hits us. Any suggestions on sights that should not be missed, ways to save money, ways to stay safe, etc are greatly appreciated. Also, I'm wondering if this is even feasible, since that is a huge area of land we are trying to cover in a pretty short amount of time. Should we add in a couple of airplane hops? Car rentals? Really, just any suggestions you have are better than what we have to go on right now, which is virtually nothing except what we are learning from our travel books. Thanks!
whenn will you go?
Right now is Wintertime in South America!
I would fly to Chile, going down to Patagonia, crossing over to Argentina, moving up to Buenos Aires,Iguazu,to the Peru Border,
from there to Ecuador.(or the other way arround)
Ecuador is the smallest Country, but has a lot to offer.
Hope I could help you a little bit,if you have more Cuestions, feel free to ask,
a simple way save money is a new system that´s running in Northern Chile and Chile´s northern patagonia, at lest during summer.
is a companny that have a hop on hop hop off circuits, that allow you to spned some time in different spots, and let you move on in the next bus.
at lest the name of one of this companies is patacam, that is located in Puerto Varas, they also have a web page
