Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has used paddywagon for its tours in Ireland. I'm booked in to do a 6 day all ireland tour later this year and am wondering if anyone else had done the same thing and what they thought of it.

My friend from NZ camne over to visit and he went on one, said it was great. The people in Ireland often laugh at them as they are over the top irish but in reality I'd say it is probably the most convenient way to see the country and meet others at the esame time. The only other way would be to hire a car, which would be more expensive and lonlier.

I say go for the cheesy but reliable paddywagon!

Ive seen them about the tourist hotspots (they were at the Giants Causeway last week when l was there!) - l think they are an excellent idea as transportation around Ireland isnt great and these tours will take you were you want to visit.

Enjoy Ireland.

Thanks your advice - I'm really looking forward to seeing Ireland as it is where my grandmothers family came from. I also have 2 days in Dublin to look around - do you have any suggestions of things i cant miss while i'm there?

If the weather keeps up Dublin will be lovely for wandering around - O'Connell St, Guinness Brewery, Trinity College (& Book of Kells), wander around Temple Bar, Phoenix Park, Dublin Zoo is worth a visit, take a book and sit in St Stephens Green, watch the street entertainers on Grafton St, if it is colder weather off Grafton St is Butlers Chocolatier go get a hot chocolate delicious!! Also l loved Killamainheim Goal.

Around Christchurch (and the tourist office) there is a hop on hop off bus which you can stop off and see all the major sites at your leisure!

Try the porterhouse pub in Temple Bar they do their own brewing - l love the Oyster beer!
