Hi all

We've been looking at hiring a camper van for 9 days around the south island of NZ, but we're unsure what mode of transport to use.

We initially planned on a campervan, but they're are so damn expensive! For a 2 berth, for 9 days, with the bond waiver excess is almost £600!!

We have been looking at these 'sleepervans' that kinda look like a people carrier/MPV with a bed and cooking facilities.

Does anybody have any advise on what we should do? The best value for money?

Thanks for the help ;);)

Kiwi Experience all the way !! Bus that takes you round, you meet loads of people, varied ages, not all 18/19 party crowd like some say. you'll love it.

You can always hire a car and take some camping gear...

Campervans are expensive to hire, (when you see the damage that some people do to them it's no wonder). for a cheaper rate try the sleepervans that you mentioned, not as much room but as long as the weather holds living outside is great. You have always the camping ground facilities to use.
