Hello!, I am thinking of travelling by car to France, Italy and Switzerland to see Alps cities during a week in August, from 18th until the 26th, maybe.

My question is if you know cheap lodging in Beziers/Montpellier/Tende (FRANCE), Aosta/Limone Piemonte/Cuneo (ITALY) and Locarno (SWITZERLAND).

I was thinking in spend my nights in campings but I would prefer another kind of cheap acomodation if it´s possible.

If anybody has travelled to these cities or countries and know this information, I would be very pleased telling it to me, please.

Thanks and good luck:)

Hello.Anywhere in Europe the cheapest places to sleep are probably the youth hostels. Some are official ones (you can find the addresses anywhere on the internet, some aren't but they still offer a good service).
I know some language schools offer a good accommodation service, even though it might be difficult in august as some of them are closed... just one of the many:

Will you be travelling alone? In France you have budget hotels where you can sleep 3 for around 30 euros : see formule 1, Etap Hotel, Villages hotel, Hotel 1ère classe...

Thank you very much to both because I have booked some youth hostels, finally.

I think is the cheapest option, travelling by car everyday, through the Alps and If you
don´t have quite enough time to go camping and you need quick accomodation.

I got my member card for only 11€ and you have many youth hostels all around the world.

Thanks again for your advices and the urls.

I will tell you how the travel go when I come back at the end of August.
