Coming from Europe: Euros.

Coming from North America: Canadian dollars.

If interested in knowing all the changeable foreign currencies check:
www.bancopopulardeahorro.com

You should bring ANY of the ones changeable BUT USD.

bring canadian and be sure that there isn't rips on the bills. if there is a tear the bank won't accept the money. don't exchange any of your money in the havana airport as the rate there is much higher than the city banks. when i was in cuba for three months one convertable peso was about 1.15 canadian. at the bank tell the security guard that you just want to exchange money and he will probably let you skip the line as the line is usually for locals who are there to pick up their checks and thus will get cubano pesos not covertable which you would get. hope that helps. feel free to message me with any other questions you may have.
