All else fails just drink, cause a stir and spend the nights in a cell.

Ahhh. Reminisces fondly

The other option could be my old standby (and waaay to regular), although I haven't checked. Fall out of the pub pissed onto a night x, and wake up in a random country you have no memory of going to.
Admittedly Dublin's options are probably limited to an overnight ferry to Holyhead - i know there is one leaving about 3am from Holyhead - so might mean there isn't one from Eire at that time, but you try that after an all day (not night) session in somewhere like Wien, and you can wake up in places as far apart as Istanbul, Napoli, Moscow, Warszawa, Hamburg, Bruxelles, Paris et al. Great fun the next morning!

SERIOUS ACCOM PROB

I have now looked at everything - there is the Red Cow in Moran which is £405 for a suite for the night (ahem NO) no room in Issac Hostel/Hotel except single beds in dorm rooms (theres 2 of us) the only thing l can find is Days Hotel Dublin Park West, Park West Business Campus, Nagor Road. Now l dont have a clue where this is in Dublin but by the address it aint central and its £104 for a double/twin room room only.....

Purdy resigns herself to having to drive up and down on the 23rd Sept....

Just did a quick google and came up with that. Maybe that'll help.

Maybe -

we could start of meeting somewhere cheesey likes knightsbridge, its a bar attached to a hotel (the arlington)on the quays just off o'connel street, they have alcohol, coffee, food etc..... irish dancing etc for entertainment, then depending on peoples moods drunkeness head over to the guiness brewery for the best views in dublin.....

other ideas would be to be predictible and meet under the clock at clearys but thats just too cheesey, the same with the molly malone statue, also both always have a lot of people there so it would be too easy to lose someone...

i'm not too fussy, open to any ideas really...
