I am going to Edinburgh for the month of November. Visiting family. Have been lots - but never Nov. As everyone has said, it's still going to be fabulous - & no tourist crowds! My first stop in any new city is the double decker bus for a general of what's available. The 'get on & off' deal works very well. Definitely recommend that for both Edi & Glasgow. My fav spot in Glasgow is The Tenement House - not that easy to find so get a good guide. Wonderful house also in Edi - senior moment here & the name has left me - but it's on the bus tour. Both cities have excellent tourist info places - Glasgow - George Square & Edi Princess St very near Waverly Station. Definitely - Edi Castle & Stirling Castle. Also love the Ghost Tour. Rangers Shop on Sauchiehall in Glasgow. Yes, it's Nov & yes, it will probably be cold & dark - but hey - it's not too great here in Nov either! I can't wait! I'll be in Stockbridge (Edi) so connect if you'd like to meet up.
