How is the food in AUstralia? Is it expensive?

it's like anywhere it's as expensive as you make it. In sydney you can get fairly cheap meals in china town (about $7 Aus). & you can always buy food from supermarkets too for sandwiches. Try pubs for specials too eg $5 Stakes with chips and veges.

You can get nearly all types of food here too. Alot of asian stuff eg chinese & vietnames, but also the genereic European food like Pizza and Pasta etc.

Hope that helps.

The food in Aus is great, good variety, quality and is relativly cheap.
Great fuits and veg, seafood, and the meats are grand. You'll find them usually better quality than in the UK.

what kind of food were you after? Generally you can get a pretty decent meal at a resturant for no more than $20 for a main meal...then theres takeaway and those kinds of things which are you know about 10 bucks!
